Forms

Create and fill interactive PDF forms.

Form creation requires a Pro plan or higher. Form filling is available on all plans.

Form Mode

Enter form mode to create and edit form fields:

  1. Click Forms in the toolbar
  2. The form toolbar appears
  3. Create fields using the tools
  4. Click Exit Form Mode when done

Form Filling

Fill out existing forms:

  1. Open a PDF with form fields
  2. Click on fields to enter data
  3. Use Tab to move between fields
  4. Click Submit or save the document

Form Data

Import Data

Import data from external sources:

  1. Click FormsImport Data
  2. Select FDF or XFDF file
  3. Data fills into matching fields

Export Data

Export form data:

  1. Click FormsExport Data
  2. Choose format (FDF, XFDF, CSV)
  3. Save the file

Flattening Forms

Make form fields permanent:

  1. Fill out the form
  2. Click FormsFlatten
  3. Fields become static content

Flattening is permanent. Save a copy before flattening if you need to edit later.
