Quickstart

Get up and running with Penvio in under 5 minutes.

Prerequisites

Quick Start Guide

Sign in to Penvio

Go to penvio.io  and sign in with your account.

Upload a document

Click the Upload button in the dashboard, then either:

  • Drag and drop a file onto the upload area
  • Click to browse and select a file

Supported formats include PDF, images (PNG, JPEG, TIFF), and Office documents (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

Open the editor

Click on your uploaded document to open it in the PDF editor. You’ll see:

  • Thumbnail sidebar - Navigate between pages
  • Main viewing area - View and interact with the PDF
  • Toolbar - Access editing tools

Try basic operations

Zoom and navigate:

  • Use the zoom controls or scroll to navigate
  • Click thumbnails to jump to specific pages

Add annotations:

  • Select the highlight tool to mark important text
  • Use the comment tool to add notes
  • Draw shapes or freehand annotations

Save your changes

Your changes are automatically saved, but you can also:

  • Click Save to force a save
  • Click Download to get a copy with your edits

Upload failed?

Check that your file:

  • Is a supported format (PDF, images, Office documents)
  • Doesn’t exceed your plan’s file size limit
  • Isn’t corrupted or password-protected

Can’t see your changes?

Try refreshing the page. If the issue persists, check your browser’s console for errors and contact support.
