Add consistent headers and footers to your PDF pages.

Adding Headers & Footers

  1. Click DocumentHeaders & Footers
  2. Choose Add
  3. Configure your header/footer
  4. Click Apply

Layout Options

Positions

Headers and footers have three positions each:

  • Left: Aligned to left margin
  • Center: Centered on page
  • Right: Aligned to right margin

Content Types

Add content to any position:

  • Text: Static text
  • Tokens: Dynamic values (see below)
  • Combination: Mix of text and tokens

Tokens

Use tokens to insert dynamic content:

Example Formats

  • Page number: Page {page} of {total}
  • Date footer: Printed on {date}
  • Combined: {title} - Page {page}

Styling

Font Options

  • Font family
  • Font size (6-72pt)
  • Font color
  • Bold, italic, underline

Margins

Set distance from page edges:

  • Top margin (for headers)
  • Bottom margin (for footers)
  • Left/right margins

Page Range

Apply headers/footers to specific pages:

  • All pages: Every page
  • Page range: e.g., 1-5, 10-15
  • Odd pages only: 1, 3, 5…
  • Even pages only: 2, 4, 6…
  • Skip first page: Start from page 2

Managing Headers & Footers

Edit

  1. Click DocumentHeaders & Footers
  2. Click Edit on an existing header/footer
  3. Make changes
  4. Click Apply

Remove

  1. Click DocumentHeaders & Footers
  2. Click Remove
  3. Choose which to remove
  4. Confirm

Tips

  • Preview changes before applying
  • Use consistent styling across documents
  • Consider different headers for sections
  • Test with both portrait and landscape pages
