Add hyperlinks to external URLs or create internal navigation links within your PDF.

Link to external websites:

  1. Select the Link tool (L)
  2. Draw a rectangle over the text or area
  3. Select URL
  4. Enter the web address
  5. Click Create

Link to another page in the document:

  1. Select the Link tool (L)
  2. Draw a rectangle over the text or area
  3. Select Page
  4. Enter the target page number
  5. Click Create

Create mailto links:

  1. Select the Link tool (L)
  2. Draw a rectangle over the text or area
  3. Select Email
  4. Enter the email address
  5. Click Create

Show a visible border around the link:

  1. Select the link
  2. Open properties
  3. Set Border Style: Solid, Dashed, or Underline
  4. Choose Border Color
  5. Set Border Width

Make links invisible (no border):

  1. Select the link
  2. Open properties
  3. Set Border Style: None

Configure what happens when the link is clicked:

  • Open in New Window: Opens URL in a new tab
  • Zoom Level: Set zoom when navigating to page
  • Highlight: Visual feedback when clicked
  1. Open the Links panel
  2. See a list of all links in the document
  1. Select the link on the page
  2. Or click it in the Links panel
  3. Modify the target or appearance
  4. Click Save
  1. Select the link
  2. Press Delete or right-click → Delete

Tips

  • Test links before sharing the document
  • Use descriptive link text for accessibility
  • Consider adding link lists to complex documents
