Upload Documents
Add PDF documents to your Penvio workspace.
File size and storage limits vary by plan. Free accounts support up to 5 MB per file and 10 MB total storage.
Upload Methods
Drag and Drop
Open your dashboard
Navigate to your document dashboard.
Drag files from your computer
Drag one or more files onto the upload area.
Wait for upload to complete
The upload queue shows progress for each file.
File Picker
Click Upload
Click the Upload button in the dashboard.
Select files
Choose files from your computer.
Confirm
Click Open to start the upload.
URL Import
Open URL import
Click Upload then From URL.
Paste the document URL
Enter the web address of the document you want to import.
Import
Click Import to download and add the document.

Bulk Upload
Upload multiple files at once:
- Select multiple files (Ctrl/Cmd + click)
- Drag them to the upload area
- All files will be uploaded in parallel
Upload Status
Track your uploads in the upload queue:
- Uploading - File is being uploaded
- Processing - Server is processing the file
- Complete - File is ready to view
- Failed - Upload failed (click to retry)
Troubleshooting
Upload Failed
- Check your internet connection
- Verify the file is a supported format
- Ensure the file isn’t corrupted
- Check you haven’t exceeded storage limits
File Too Large
- Upgrade to a higher plan for larger file support
- Compress the PDF using a tool like Adobe Acrobat
- Split the document into smaller parts
