Split a PDF
Separate a PDF into multiple smaller files.
Goal
Take a PDF and split it into individual pages or page ranges.
Split by Page Range
Open the PDF
Open the PDF you want to split.
Open Split Tool
Click Document → Split.
Choose Page Range
Choose By Page Range and enter ranges (e.g., “1-5, 6-10, 11-15”).
Split
Click Split and download the resulting files.
Split Every N Pages
- Open the PDF
- Click Document → Split
- Choose Every N Pages
- Enter number (e.g., 5 for every 5 pages)
- Click Split
Extract Specific Pages
- Open the thumbnail sidebar
- Select pages to extract (Ctrl/Cmd + click)
- Right-click → Extract
- Download as new PDF
Split Options

Tips
- Preview pages in thumbnail view first
- Use bookmarks to split by section
- Name output files descriptively
- Keep the original file as backup
