Converting a URL
- Click Convert → HTML to PDF
- Enter the web page URL
- Configure settings
- Click Convert
Page Settings
Page Size
- Letter (8.5” x 11”)
- A4 (210mm x 297mm)
- Legal (8.5” x 14”)
- Custom dimensions
Orientation
- Portrait: Vertical
- Landscape: Horizontal (better for wide content)
Margins
Set margins for each side:
- Top, Bottom, Left, Right
- Use consistent margins for professional look
Scale
Adjust how content fits the page:
- Auto: Best fit
- Custom: Percentage (50% - 200%)
Conversion Options
Headers & Footers
Add headers/footers to the PDF:
- Page URL
- Page title
- Page numbers
- Date
Background
- Include backgrounds: Capture CSS backgrounds
- Exclude backgrounds: White background only
Images
- Include images: Full rendering
- Exclude images: Text only
Print Styles
- Use print CSS: If available
- Use screen CSS: As displayed in browser
Handling Dynamic Content
Wait for Load
For pages with JavaScript:
- Enable Wait for JavaScript
- Set timeout (default: 5 seconds)
- Content loads before capture
Login Required
For authenticated pages:
- Log in manually in browser
- Export cookies
- Use cookies in conversion
Multiple Pages
Single URL
Creates one PDF from the page.
Multiple URLs
- Enter multiple URLs (one per line)
- Choose:
- Combined: All pages in one PDF
- Separate: Individual PDFs
Limitations
- JavaScript-heavy sites may not render perfectly
- Some dynamic content may not capture
- Login-required pages need authentication
- Very long pages may be split
Tips
- Use print preview to check before converting
- Try landscape for wide tables
- Adjust scale for better fit
- Test with different page sizes
