Insert, resize, and manipulate images in your PDFs.

Inserting Images

From Your Computer

  1. Select the Image tool (I)
  2. Click where you want the image
  3. Select an image file from your computer
  4. The image is inserted at that location

Drag and Drop

  1. Drag an image file from your computer
  2. Drop it onto the PDF page
  3. Position and resize as needed

Supported Formats

  • PNG (.png)
  • JPEG (.jpg, .jpeg)
  • GIF (.gif)
  • TIFF (.tif, .tiff)
  • BMP (.bmp)
  • WebP (.webp)

Resizing Images

  1. Click on an image to select it
  2. Drag the corner handles to resize
  3. Hold Shift to maintain aspect ratio

Precise Sizing

  1. Select the image
  2. Open the properties panel
  3. Enter exact width and height values

Positioning Images

Move

  • Click and drag to move
  • Use arrow keys for fine adjustments

Align

Right-click for alignment options:

  • Align left, center, right
  • Align top, middle, bottom
  • Distribute evenly

Layer Order

Control image stacking:

  • Bring to Front: Move above all objects
  • Send to Back: Move behind all objects
  • Bring Forward: Move up one layer
  • Send Backward: Move down one layer

Image Editing

Rotate

  • Drag the rotation handle
  • Or right-click → Rotate for preset angles

Replace

  1. Right-click the image
  2. Select Replace Image
  3. Choose a new image file

Delete

  1. Select the image
  2. Press Delete or Backspace

Optimization

Large images can increase file size. To optimize:

  1. Right-click the image
  2. Select Optimize
  3. Choose quality level
  4. Click Apply
